The Developmental Disabilities Counsellor Program is an in-class and hands-on training program for persons interested in preparing for direct-care employment with a Service Provider in the Developmental Services Sector. This program includes a paid work term and is offered through a partnership of KPAS, Reena, George Brown College, and three other Transfer Payment Agencies. The Community Crisis Response Network supports persons in crisis whose needs require immediate response from a range of service providers. Connected by formal working partnerships, the Network responds to an immediate crisis and ensures the appropriate linkages for a longer-term solution. The Network assists persons with a developmental disability, an acquired brain injury, a serious mental illness, or a dual diagnosis. Callers can access these services by calling 310-COPE(2673)
